Black, White, Drips and Trips is young Australian artist Nic Nyx’s second solo exhibition.

Ink has a tendency to drip and create amazing movement that the artist has harnessed in many of her unique works.

The curated pieces have been selected to take the audience on a trip outside the ordinary to where you are immersed into the artists mind filled with fears, humor and curiosity. Nic Nyx demonstrates how utilizing one medium and only black and white can portray a variety of different ideas, concepts and styles.

The audience can connect to an audio guide using the wifi provided and any smart phone device. This audio guide explains in depth the thoughts and feelings of the artist behind each individual piece. The inspiration for Nic Nyx's work can be found all around, it is both the absurdity and mundaneness of everyday life that influences much of her work.

In addition to the artist’s works an active artwork of Nic Nyx painting using only black and white, within a small box will be live for 36 hours beginning Friday 19th midday until Sat 20th midnight. This work pushes the boundaries of performance art, installation and painting.
