Opening night : Wednesday the 10th of February 6 - 9pm
"Simplicity of subject, composition, and youthful intrigue are the artistic nuances unique to Camilo Bustamante’s work.
Capturing the contrast and subtleties of Hong Kong’s street-scape, Camilo’s photography evokes a sense of nostalgia and admiration for such a dynamic city. His work has the intellectual depth to provoke a sense of intimacy and personal connection between the viewer and the distinctive beauty of the city he photographs.
Camilo’s shots of Hong Kong are raw yet refined. He captures the honesty of a city that seems so outwardly fickle but yet has so much genuine heart. "
Camilo Bustamante is a Chilean-Vietnamese photographer from Sydney. His first solo exhibition entitled "Sing Woah Dough ...Lido" showcases moments in time, possible situations and unknown possibilities from a 2014 trip to Hong Kong. He will also be launching a self-published book of photographs available for $35 on the night.
