Thomas created the feature paintings of this exhibition during a residency in Berlin last year. The pieces have inspired an exhibition of works, concerned with abstracting Skulk’s signature style, to shown for the first time in Sydney.

The artist has found a balance between the abstract and street-art inspired figurative style, well-known around the Inner-west streets.

Skulk’s signature style can still be discerned in this collection of works; however, it marks a change in direction and new artistic possibilities for this young artist’s progressive practice.
