INUIT DISCO and FRIENDS


The Inuit Disco is an animation which premiered at Fed Square throughout the month of June as part of Light in Winter Festival.

Created by Sydney-based motion designer Michelle McNamara with sound and construction by Tim Tunstall, the Inuit Disco is inspired by the northern lights, landscape and fauna of the Arctic. The igloo allows people to crawl into the playful and colourful space to be a part of it.

Michelle and the crew plan to take this fine structure to more art festivals, allowing it to evolve and grow with more animation or installation artists to become a part of the journey as we go along.
