The Advanced Diploma of Illustration students of Design Centre Enmore present AESOPICA: Aesop's Fables Reimagined. Enter their world and meet the fantastical creatures that dwell in the land of Aesopica, as depicted in the various styles and imaginings of these emerging illustrators.
Ebony Eden, Rachel Stevens, Jess Freeman, Zoe Caladine, Nicholas Chung, Sean Gilbert and Genevieve Dantoc will showcase their illustrative works, which explore and subvert the themes and morals of various Aesop's Fables. Written by a former Greek slave in the late to mid-6th century BCE, Aesop's Fables are the world's best known collection of tales of morality.
We invite you to join us for our opening night on July 5, 2017 at 6pm, where refreshments will be provided and various prints, books, postcards and products featuring the group’s illustrations will be available for purchase. The exhibition will be open to the public until Tuesday, July 11.
Opening night: Wednesday 5th July, 6-9pm
Opening hours: 12-7pm until July 11
