Opening date: 19 Jul 2017
Running date: 25 Jul 2017
"Shut up and take my money", said a wise Fry on 'Futurama' - and that is what any artist wants to hear over the roar of "NOTICE ME, DAMMIT!" echoing in their head. Admit it to yourself. You'll lie better.
And what is 'God Toast' but a bit of bleedin' nonsense words? Indeed. The irrepressible urchins putting on this ego drain of an art show take great joy in doing what they damn well please and anything you bring to 'the work' is your own damn emotional baggage which we'll steal from you beneath your senses when you're not looking on account we is all needy. Jesus - aren't you fucking sick of shit shows where certain 'artists' wank-yak like a buncha narcissistic leeches in catalogues - "grovel, grovel, crawl, crawl, AFFIRM ME!!' Parasites.
Yup. 'God Toast' ain't got no goddamn agenda to confirm the placid coma of your aesthetic experiences. All we got is a 'don't take life so seriously, folks, it ain't nohow permanent'. And money. We want your money.
Or we'll take your spine. In turns.
