ABOUT "PERSPECTIVE"
In January 2018, I was flown to Bangladesh as a Director of Photography to film a documentary titled "FINDING ALI". Over the course of a week trip travelling around Bangladesh I spent 3 days in a little village south of Dhaka called Nijhum Dwip. While i was there i got to experience what life was like there, how the children lived and the heart breaking conditions in which they were living in.
When I shoot, I look for emotion. Emotion through facial expressions. Even the slightest facial expression can say a thousand words. My aim was to capture the innocence of the children. Looking back on these images I feel the weight of guilt, knowing these children may never know the life we live on the other side of the world.
