Adrianne’s latest series of works ‘Into The Pacific’ is based on the coasts and islands surrounding the Pacific Ocean; based on the idea of it being meeting place for different people across different continents who all share one big ocean - the largest one of earth. Despite kilometres, different languages, and cultures - we are all connected.

Connected by this water and its energy. Where a wave will travel from one part of the ocean and be felt or break on another coast or island.

The idea is inspired by Adrianne’s travels to various coastlines and archipelagos that meet in the Pacific Ocean. The artwork she has created is almost like a lost and found of items washed up from each of these places. Adrianne uses her art practice to explore ideas, culture and language, drawing from scenes she has immersed in on these travels and bringing a playful energy to her creations. It’s a visual love letter to these places and the Pacific Ocean.

The ocean is the one place that no matter who you are, or how old you are - you can feel weightless, lighter, and have child-like play. It invites you in. It can be calm, fun, playful but it can also be scary and humbling all at the same time. The swings in mood are almost like communication from Mother Nature herself.

Friday 10 - 3pm then 5 - 9pm for opening
Saturday 10 - 5pm
Sunday 11- 5pm
Monday 10 - 4pm
