Raymond Tuifao Lalotoa Solo Exhibition

Samoan artist RAYMOND TUIFAO LALOTOA heads back to where it all began in 2013. Join us on Thursday 5 June from 6pm at M2 Gallery in Surry HIlls to celebrate Ray’s latest solo art show SAMOAN IN SURRY HILLS 3.

A body of work he’s been quietly tapping away at (between other projects) since 2018. These artworks hold special significance for Ray as a Samoan artist painting his journey, sharing what many of us have been experiencing together / alone as people, especially the current state of the planet, our strange place in time. This is just Ray’s visual perspective of that story.

“For me the SAMOAN IN SURRY HILLS series will always be a communal celebration, drawing inspiration from music, art, people and things that are close to my heart then shared to canvas. At the end of the day my dream is to keep sharing my art and to bring big smiles + colour to the homes of my friends. I really hope you can make it along. Be great to see all your beautiful faces.
